Monday, February 12, 2018My condolences on your loss. I knew Al by way of volunteer work at UM Camp Kingswood (Hancock) and perhaps UM Camp Epworth (High Falls). I distinctly remember spending a couple days with him and David Taylor as they built the wooden beds now at Kingswood. Also ran into him at the Dutchess County Fair. I respected his intelligence, variety of interests and energy. He was a good man who will be missed.

Wednesday, November 29, 2017I want you to know that Al was one of the finest people I have ever known. I worked with him often as a volunteer at Northern Dutchess.Hospital. He always made my day , and those of everyone else he encountered , better. Luckily, I had the chance to actually tell him that. My most sincere regrets.

Monday, November 20, 2017Dear Mrs. Hejnal and family, I knew Al from the grandchildren at nursery school and through the scouting program - both as a leader and a Wood Badger - Bobwhite NEII-68. He would stop from time to time to visit me at Funshine. Enjoyed his chats at the Fair doing the child ID program. He was always interested in what you were up to . I always loved seeing him at the hospital - greeted you with a smile and a warm hug. I will miss him and all the smiles he gave to me. Johanna Moore

Monday, November 20, 2017Dear Marlene and Family Members, I was so shocked to learn of Al's passing. He will be remembered for all his community activities and willingness to offer his help. I remember his joy in sharing his award winning, excellently done quilt. He even helped sweep the basement of the town hall and fix a desk to make it usable during our records management years. He was a marvel of expertise in so many areas and a wonderful person to have known. With our sincere condolences, Linda and Vance Keeling
