Nancy Magley, 89, of Tivoli, NY, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY.
Born on March 22, 1930, in Myton, UT, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Virginia (Funk) Todd. Nancy married Miller "Doug" Magley on June 19, 1954 and he predeceased her on September 3, 2007.
She graduated High School from Wasatch Academy of Utah in 1948 and served in the Air Force at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois from 1954-1955.
In addition to raising her family, Nancy was active in the Hendrick Hudson Chapter #814, Order of the Eastern Star in Red Hook, NY. She served as OES Matron for many years.
She is survived by her three sons and their wives, Gary and Laura Magley of Chestertown, NY, Bruce and Sandy Magley of Elgin, SC, and Dale and Gail Magley of Norton, MA; a brother Alan Todd and wife Linda of Arlington, TX; her grandchildren, Dr Meghan Steinour and husband Benjamin of Lexington, SC, and Gregory Magley and wife Kate of Vestavia Hills, AL; David Magley and wife Kara of South Windsor, CT; Dr Lauren Magley of Grand Rapids, MI; her great grandchildren, Mae Magley, Lela Magley, and Sadie Steinour; along with extended family and friends.
A brother, Philip Todd predeceased her.
Nancy was laid to rest next to her husband in St. John's Reformed Church Cemetery in Red Hook during a private service surrounded by family on July 11, 2020.
Memorial donations may be made in Nancy's memory to the American Cancer Society.
