Marie Seidel, 92, long time resident of Hatboro, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 14, at The Baptist Home, Rhinebeck, NY. Born in Trinidad, she was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Agnes Bosse, and five brothers and sisters.
Marie was married in Rhode Island at the Naval Air Station, Quonset Point, to Edward Seidel for 55 years until his passing. They shared over 25 years of navy military life. One of Marie's proud moments was becoming a US citizen in 1964. She was a draftsman by training. After raising her family, she worked at Horn and Hardart Restaurant in Willow Grove, PA and Santerian's Clothing Store in Hatboro, PA. After she retired, she took up drawing, water colors and making holiday cards.
Marie loved spending time outdoors in her vegetable and rose gardens. She and her husband were avid animal lovers. She is survived by her son, Edward Seidel of Tucson, AZ and daughter Arleen Luddy and her son-in-law Michael Luddy of Poughquag, NY. In addition, she is loved by her 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Due to the current circumstances, there will be a Celebration of Life for Marie at a later date.
