Obituary of Margaret M Brennan

Margaret M Brennan, 87, of Red Hook, NY, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at her home.

Born on May 10, 1933, in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Matilda (Stollmer) Dolan. Margaret married James A. Brennan on February 4, 1956 at St. Raphael's Church in Manhattan and he predeceased her on July 11, 2009

For many years, Margaret worked in medical records for HIP of NY.

A communicant of St. Christopher's Church in Red Hook, NY, she was also a longtime member of their Lady's Guild.

Margaret is survived by her children, Patricia Brennan of Manhattan, NY, James (Maureen) A. Brennan of Fort Myers, FL, Margaret (Michael) Flynn of Fort Montgomery, NY, Thomas Brennan of Red Hook, NY, and Ann (Steven) Schmidt of Fort Montgomery, NY; her sisters, Eleanor (Vincent) DeGruccio of Red Hook, NY, and Rosemary Abbattista of Red Hook, NY; her grandchildren, Erin, Jimmy, Kelly, Andrew, Colin, Shannon, Aidin and Matthew; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband, two sisters, Agnes Hoyt, and Marion, and six brothers, James, Bernard, William, John, Larry, and Emmett Dolan predeceased her

Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes in Red Hook on Friday, January 15th, 2021 from 3 to 7 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 16th, 2021 at St. Christopher's Church in Red Hook, NY. Father Patrick Buckley will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hook.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Margaret's memory to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, www/stjude.org or to Boystown at www.supportboystown.org.
