Nicholas Victor Karchmer, 19, of the Town of Clinton NY, died unexpectedly on September 21st, 2021.
Nicholas was born in Poughkeepsie, and is the son of David and Melissa Karchmer. He lived in the Town of Clinton and graduated from Rhinebeck High School in 2020. He was a member of The Parish of Good Shepherd in Rhinebeck, where he was an altar server. He was smart, funny, friendly, and outgoing. Nicholas had a great ability to connect with people and leave a lasting impression. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, as well as sports, movies, reading, and playing video games. Nicholas had future aspirations in law enforcement, and was a budding writer and podcaster.
Nicholas is survived by his parents, his sisters Samantha, Nadine, and Sarah, his Aunt Jennifer Karchmer, his Godmother Michelle Deutscher and her family, as well as many other cousins and extended family members.
Our family would like to acknowledge the devotion of his many close friends like Sam, Chas, Jack, Owen, Billy, Alan, Martin, Jake, and Ian. Nicholas will be missed forever, and we would like to thank everyone for the love and support shown to us during this difficult period. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 28th at 11 a.m. at The Parish of Good Shepherd in Rhinebeck followed by a reception at the family's residence. Interment will be private.
